Normally when you're running the bath or shower, your bathroom mirror will get steamed up. A Demista pad sits behind the mirror and heats the mirror to around 15C above room temperature, usually in 2-4 minutes. This has the effect of clearing the mist on the surface of the glass, so that you can see what you're doing.
